My name is Hari and I live in Penrhyn Bay and I attend Ysgol John Bright in Llandudno. I am doing the Zip wire Challenge at Bethesda on the 1st October in aid of the North Wales Society for the Blind. I am doing this because it’s a charity which means so much to me and I am grateful for the help and support they have shown to my mum.
Since December 2016 my mum has been having problems with her eyesight due to her diabetes. (Retinopathy and fluid in her eyes) and after having laser treatment for eye bleeds, she has now been registered as severely sighted (blind).
Mum still tries her best in everything she does, but often has to ask for assistance her eye condition is life changing for everyone. I’ve had to grow up and help her in many ways even down to helping her with her medication and insulin.
The NWSB have been amazing with mum with help advice and guidance. We wouldn’t have known where to begin without them.
So that is why I have decided to take the Zip Wire challenge
Thank you to Steve and his team at Bangor shop nwsb.
If you would like to donate and help for this wonderful cause.
