Book a talk for your organisation or school
In addition to the formal training courses we also visit schools, colleges, groups and societies to raise awareness, and talk about the work of the Society.
Our volunteers Marion and Buddug draw on their personal experiences to provide a fascinating, interesting and thought provoking talk which never fails to attract praise from the audience.
Accompanied by her guide dog Frea, Buddug shares some of her personal experiences of sight loss, and of the techniques and gadgets which have enabled her to stay independent.
Marion draws on her experience as a retired Social worker with over 30 years experience of working with blind and partially sighted people. She is a Braille reader and has been a volunteer who taught blind Children in the remote African Village.
