A creative morning with Lydia Mary Fernandez-Arias

What a wonderful day it was for Colwyn Bay's sight loss group!
 
On Moday, they had the pleasure of welcoming Lydia Mary Fernandez Arias, a talented local artist, to their session.

Lydia came ready to inspire, sharing stories about her workshops, which are all about hands-on creativity.

To make things even more special, she brought along a variety of items for everyone to touch and explore - a truly engaging way for members to connect with her work.

Lydia's already planning something fabulous for next time!

She'll be helping the group make plant pots together.

It'll be a great opportunity for everyone to work on something creative and enjoy the process as a team.

One of the group members summed up the day beautifully, saying: "I’ve had such a lovely time today. It’s great when we can just sit and chat with our friends and learn new things.

“It can be lonely during the week as I live alone, but I’m looking forward to our next art session."
