15.04.25 Support our Walking Club with Tesco blue tokens
At present, the North Wales Society of the Blind pays around £300-£360 per month or £4,000 a year for transport to take the walkers to and from their destination.
The financial assistance and community visibility provided by this scheme would be invaluable in helping us to continue our work, particularly in areas of social inclusion, welfare, and accessibility.

16.10.24 Blas ar gynnwys Y Rhwyd
Y Rhwyd is the name of the community newspaper covering w north-west Ynys Môn, including Caergybi, Bodedern, Cemaes and Llanfechell.
It is read and recorded every month by volunteers.
Their readings are recorded by Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru - North Wales Society of The Blind in our studio in Bangor.
The CD recordings from the paper are then sent by post to anyone who would prefer to have an audio version.
This month's readers are Gwyneth Jones and Margaret Davies, from Merched Y Wawr, Cemaes.
They are also keen to get more people to volunteer to read and record the paper.

New mural by North Wales Society of the Blind.
Children and young people have come together to paint a mural that reflects their feelings and experiences of sight loss. Under the guidance of graffiti artist Andy Birch, they set about using cans to spray paint to create graffiti at the North Wales Society of the Blind office in Bangor.
