In memory of Dewi ‘Pws’ Morris – a true friend to the Society

Diolch yn fawr iti Dewi Pws

We were all saddened as North Wales Blind Association staff to hear of the death of Dewi Pws Morris.

He was supportive of the Association and the work we do to provide support for people living with visual impairment throughout North Wales.

We will remember him fondly as a guest at our annual meeting.

The Association's senior rehabilitation officer, Dafydd Eckley, said: "He entertained with a uniquely wicked song and humor. He took time and interest in talking to our members.

"It was a memorable afternoon, full of fun, enjoyed by all. "He will be greatly missed,"

Dewi was also an author of children's books. He came to the Listening Society studio in our office in High Street, Bangor to voice two books he wrote with his wife Rhiannon Roberts namely Dewi, Dwpsi a ir Ddraig and Dewi, Dwpsi a ir Aur.

He brought his ukulele with him and completed the vocal work in a fun and professional way.

"Thank you and sleep in peace, Dewi."
