Notice of our next walk from Chwarel Dinorwig to Nant Peris on Wednesday July 15, 2026

Hi all

This is an easy walk through the quarry of around 3.5 miles and down to the bus station at Nant Peris on a solid surface with one uneven section.

We will congregate by the bus turnaround point at the far end of Dinorwig at 11:30am and have an early lunch at the viewing point along the route.

Sorry, there are no cafes or shops along the route - so don't forget to bring drink and food with you as well as suitable footwear and clothing.

There are no toilets for us at the start of the walk, but there is a toilet at the end of the walk.

The NWSB have arranged transport to leave the office in Bangor at 10:30am and pick up at Morrisons, Caernarfon at 10:50am, to arrive for the walk to start at 11:30am.

We will return from Nant Peris at around 15:30pm, returning to Bangor by 15:45pm.

We would appreciate if you could let Bethan Sage Williams NWSB know if you intend to join us by no later than Friday, July 10 so that we can arrange the necessary transport.
