Our walk this month will be a circular one from Carmel, Caernarfon.

It will start in the village of Carmel taking the road up to Cilgwyn and then on to the quarry road which takes us past the old Cilgwyn and Dorothea slate quarries.

We weill then walk to Y Fron where hopefully tea, coffee and restrooms will be available

We will eat our sandwiches here.

We will then leave Fron on the Rhosgadfan road heading down to the Bryn and returning to Carmel village.

The walk is approximately 4 miles.

The walk leaders will be Alun and Bethan Roberts.

The North Wales Society of the Blind will put arrange a coach to leave the Society’s offices at 325, Stryd Fawr, Bangor at 10:30am, picking up at Morrison’s Caernarfon at around 10:45am.

We will postpone the trip in the event of bad weather.

If we need to make a decision to cancel, we will let you know by email and text by 6pm on the evening before the walk.
