Bethan visits Hafan Gwydir, Llanrwst

Hafan Gwydir is a 24‑hour extra‑care housing scheme offering self‑contained flats with communal areas, activities, and care staff available if needed.

Residents live in their own apartments but have access to support, meals and social spaces.

Bethan said: “I met so many interesting residents and was able to give them information and show them helpful everyday gadgets.

“This will hopefully help to keep them living independently which is why this work is so important to me.

“I must have spoken to a dozen residents each with different stories to tell, but during those conversations I could find out how best we could support them.”
