Great publicity for North Wales Society of the Blind and our walking club thanks to BBC Radio Cymru’s Shân Cothi and Cymru Fyw
A little over a week ago (May 21), 28 walkers joined us on our latest walk to the Trawsfynydd area – along with five guide dogs.
The leaders of this lovely walk were David P Jones and Robat Davies, both wardens with Snowdonia National Park.
Everyone enjoyed the circular 4.5-mile walk to the Trawsfynydd Dam.
Clwb Cerdded Eryri walking club’s walks are organised by Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru, with Mark Roberts and his guide dog, Forest, leading.
During this walk, Mark Roberts was interviewed by Shân Cothi, BBC Radio Cymru, discussing his work volunteering as a leader with the walking club.
If you would like to listen to the interview, a link has been included in this article by Anna George on the BBC Cymru Fyw website.
Many thanks to Shân Cothi, Anna George, and BBC Radio Cymru for highlighting the work of Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru and our Clwb cerdded Eryri walking club.
