GWRANDO’s Christmas crackers!
Over the next few days and weeks, we’ll be sharing information about eight new audio books recorded at our GWRANDO studio in Bangor.
The GWRANDO studio is situated at the Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru North Wales Society of the Blind office at 325, Stryd Fawr, Bangor.
Four of the audio books are for adults and four for children and young people.
Here are the titles and details of the four audio books for adults:
1) Yn ôl i Leifior – Islwyn Ffowc Elis. Darllenwyd gan R Llewelyn Thomas.
2) I’r Eisteddfod – Lois Arnold. Darllenwyd gan Gwen Davies.
3) Salem – Haf Llewelyn. Darllenwyd gan Elain Llwyd.

And here are the details of the four books for children and young people:
1) Cadi a’r Gwrachod – Bethan Gwanas. Darllenwyd gan Mari Prys.
2) Y Boced Wag – Eurgain Haf. Darllenwyd gan Cath Aran.
3) Fi Ydy Fi – Sian Lewis. Darllenwyd gan yr awdur.
4) Anturiaethau’r Brenin Arthur – Rebecca Thomas. Darllenwyd gan Siân Teifi.

The first one is Yn ôl i Leifior by Islwyn Ffowc Elis.
Here is a short description: The follow up novel to Cysgod y Cryman following the lives of the Lleifior family. The digitally remastered recording of the 1964 original.
This novel is considered a classic. It was first published in 1953. Islwyn Ffowc Elis was born in Wrexham on November 17, 1924 – just over a 100 years ago.
