Nick celebrates after winning medal at European Para-Archery championships
Here are some fantastic photographs of Nick Thomas celebrating after winning a bronze medal at the European Para-Archery championships in Rome last week.
Nick works as a development officer at Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru - North Wales Society of The Blind in Bangor.
Nick’s wife, Marie Claire Thomas, was with him and acted as his 'spotter', to tell him where the arrows landed on the board after every shot.
Nick said: "It was a long, hot but good day at a stunning venue. Not the colour of medal I was hoping for but a medal none the less. Still think of it as a successful trip and clearly have things to work on.
“Thank you all for your support and a huge thank you to Marie for everything she has done for me this week. I could not have done it without her."
The photographs show Nick aiming his bow and arrow at the target and also smiling while proudly showing off his medal and y Ddraig Goch flag at the end of the competitions in Rome, Italy.
