Notice of Abergwyngregyn to Llanfairfechan Walk Wednesday, March 19, 2025

For this month's walk, the walk leader will be Kev (Bach) Williams, formerly of Capital Cymru Radio.

We will be walking part of the North Wales Coastal Path.

We will start the walk by the main bus stop in the village of Abergwyngregyn at 11am.

This is approximately a route of around 4.5 miles in which we will be walking on parts of the beach and through fields more or less parallel to the Menai Strait.

As we normally do, we will stop for our lunch break roughly half way through the walk.

Once we arrive in Llanfairfechan there is a café with toilets and where refreshments can be bought.

Appropriate footwear and clothing is advised.

We would appreciate if you could let Bethan Sage Williams know in the Society if you intend to join the walk by no later than this Friday - March 14 so that we can arrange the necessary transport.

The transport provided by Dilwyn’s coaches will leave the Society’s offices in Bangor at 10.30am.

For those of us returning to Bangor, our coach will pick us up at the end of the walk at Llanfairfechan at 2.30pm.

Looking forward to seeing you all.
