Notice of our next walk to Beaumaris

Beaumaris area circular walk – Wednesday, February 19, 2025

Walk club volunteer Elaine Roberts will this month guide us around her birth place of Beaumaris.

It's a circular walk of approximately 4 miles, mostly on a hard surface apart from the necessity to cross a couple of fields which could be a bit muddy if it rains in the days leading up to the walk.

Therefore, appropriate footwear and clothing is advised.

We will start and finish the walk by the toilets which are located between the David Hughes Community Centre and the castle (LL58 8AL).

We will stop for our lunch break at Henllys Golf Club where we have permission to use the picnic tables by the club house. The club's cafe will be open so we can buy tea/coffee, snacks if required.

Transportation will be provided by the NWSB, leaving the Society at 10:30; returning from Beaumaris at 14:30 to arrive back in Bangor at around 15:00.

We would appreciate if you could let the Society’s Bethan Sage Williams know if you intend to join the walk by no later than Wednesday, February 12, so we can arrange the necessary transport.
