Notice of our next walk to Dinorwig 18.2.26

Eurwyn Thomas (volunteer) has kindly arranged our next club walk for Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

We’ll be walking from Chwarel Dinorwig (Dinorwic Quarry) to Nant Peris, covering roughly 3.5 miles on an easy route. 

Most of the path is on a solid surface, with just one short uneven section.

We’ll meet at 11:30am by the bus turn-around point at the far end of Dinorwig, and we’ll stop for an early lunch at the viewing point along the way. 

There are no cafés or shops on this route, so please remember to bring your own food and drink, along with suitable clothing and footwear. 

There are no toilets at the start, but there are toilets available at the end of the walk in Nant Peris.

Transport has been arranged by Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru - North Wales Society of The Blind, leaving the office at 10:30am picking up at Caernarfon Morrisons bus stop at 10:50am, arriving in time for the walk to begin at 11:30am
