Walk Wednesday, August 13, 2025 – Lôn Las Ogwen from Bethesda to Bangor

For our August walk, we will continue on the Lôn Las Ogwen Slate Trail from Bethesda to Bangor; finishing the walk at the North Wales Society of the Blind offices where refreshments in the form of tea and coffee will be provided.

We will start the walk on Station Road, Bethesda (by Londis) at around 11:00 making our way along Lôn Las to Tregarth and on to Moel-y-Ci café where we will break for our lunch.  

Food and drink can be bought at the café if required and there are picnic tables and toilets there we can use.

The route is mainly flat on a sound tarmac surface and is a distance of just short of 6 miles.

Suitable footwear and clothing is well advised.

The N.W.S.B. have arranged transport to leave the office at 10:30 arriving in Bethesda at around 10:50 to commence the walk at 11:00.

We should arrive in Bangor at around 15:00.

We would appreciate if you could let Bethan Sage Williams (N.W.S.B.) know if you intend to join us by no later than Wednesday, August 6 so we can arrange the necessary transport.
