Our next walk - Y Felinheli to Caernarfon - Wednesday, January 21, 2026

The coach will leave Bangor at 10:30 as usual and drop the group in Y Felinheli.

The walk will begin from outside Y Garddfon pub at approximately 11:00am. 

(Public toilets are available opposite the pub.)

The length of the walk from Y Felinheli to Caernarfon is around 4.5 miles.

Mark has arranged for the group to take their lunch break at Plas Menai Outdoor Centre, where there are picnic tables and toilet facilities.

After lunch, we will continue along the Lôn Las Menai cycle path towards Caernarfon. 

Dilwyn’s coach will collect the group from Morrisons car park at around 2:30pm for the return journey to Bangor.

Members or volunteers from the Caernarfon area who prefer to drive may leave their cars in Y Felinheli and join the walk from the starting point at Y Garddfon. They can then be dropped back to collect their cars on the return journey.
