Paint job transformation for our resources centre

The Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru North Wales Society of the Blind’s resources centre and offices have been transformed after being painted in our corporate colours.

The centre at 325, High Street, Bangor, Gwynedd is an important location for people living with sight loss and offers a display of the latest equipment along with the necessary information.

A number of people come here to the centre either to find out what resources are available or to receive information and support from our Society staff who are experts in their field.

A number of people come visit after being registered with sight loss and anybody concerned about their own personal situation are very welcome.

The centre was partially closed last week to enable painters to paint the ground floor which includes the resources centre and a number of offices and meeting rooms.

The painter was Martin Jones of Llanfairpwll, Ynys Môn.

The Society's chief executive, Steven Thomas, said: "We wanted to give the reception and resource centre in particular a fresh new look.

"We decided to choose the colours green and charcoal grey to put on the walls as those are our corporate colours.

"Everybody have kindly remarked how our offices are now looking a lot more modern after being painted. We'll now also revamp our resources to show off the latest equipment so everyone can get a better idea of what's available as support for them.

"I would like to thank Martin for his careful work in painting the ground floor and we look forward to welcoming more people with sight loss to our centre."
