Phill Jones gig to raise money for the North Wales society of the blind
Phill Jones will be singing at a charity gig to raise money for the North Wales Society of the Blind.
Phill, 22, from Caernarfon, was born with a sight loss.
He can't see further than a metre in front of him and has no peripheral vision.
Phill uses assisted technology to enable him to read print and change it to size 36.
He said: "There is no treatment to improve my condition but I know that it will not get any worse.
From an early age, Phill was helped by the North Wales Society of the Blind in Bangor.
Phill said: "The Society has been a great help to me in my life over the years. They have enabled me to make a group of close friends and gain independence from day to day in my personal life.
"I have a big thank you to Steve, Dafydd, Nick and the crew."
Phill works as a receptionist for Pritchard Jones and Lane solicitors in Caernarfon.
In his spare time Phill has learned to play the guitar and he gigs and sings around local pubs most weekends.
Come and listen to Phill and his band and special guests play at Jac Y Do, 1, Stryd y Farchnad, Caernarfon on Friday evening, November 14, 2025.
