Swimmer Ela "busy" since winning silver medal in Glasgow!

Ela Letton-Jones has been "terribly busy" since she won Wales' first medal at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games after finishing second in the S13 100m freestyle.

The 19-year-old para swimmer from Felinheli, Gwynedd, won a silver medal completing the race in a time of one minute and 4.30 seconds - breaking the Welsh record and her personal best time.

Ela, who has albinism which affects her sight, told BBC Wales: "I am really happy happy with that result – a PB and a silver medal. I couldn't ask for more than that.

She added: "I'm really proud of myself and I'm grateful to all the people who helped me during the journey."

Ela won a silver medal at the World Paralympic Championships in Singapore in September representing Great Britain.

Her hope is to reach the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
