THE TWO BRIDGES WALK

Photos from our latest walk from Britannia bridge to Menai bridge, stopping in Treborth for lunch.

It was lovely to see so many walkers.

Thank you to all that came and braved the wet weather.

Unfortunately due to weather conditions we had to postpone our last walk (18/01/23). We have decided to do the same route  from bridge to bridge next week 25/01/23. Please can you let me know if you are available  for the walk also where you will be starting from the office or the bridge.

This month's walk we will visit both the Menai Suspension Bridge and Pont Britannia, an easy walk of around 4 miles.  The walk will start on the Bangor side of the Menai Bridge where we will make our way along part of the coastal path to Pont Britannia.  We will then retrace our steps back to the Menai Bridge, where upon we will cross over to Anglesey where we will continue our walk onto Church Island, the old church is believed to have been built in 1400.  We will then proceed along the 'Belgium Promenade' where we intend to have lunch at approximately 12:30, there are benches on the Belgium Promenade where we can sit to eat.

After a short break, we shall continue along the promenade and do a circuit of the town of Menai Bridge, making our way back to the bridge to cross back on to the mainland back to our starting point.
