Wendy and Bethan visit Bryn Meddyg

Last month we visited Bryn Meddyg, an assisted‑living home near Pwllheli, where they had a warm welcome from both residents and staff.

Bethan and Wendy visited on the morning of June 24 – which was relaxed with plenty of conversation.

Wendy explained the range of support available for people living with sight loss — from practical rehabilitation and daily‑living techniques to home visits, and guidance on maintaining independence.

Bethan demonstrated a variety of equipment designed to make everyday tasks easier for people with low vision.

Residents were able to handle items, try things out, and ask questions.

Staff appreciated seeing the equipment too.
