What a fantastic morning enjoyed as two clubs join up!
Today, (23.3.26) the North Wales Society of the Blind Social Club and the Conwy Sight Loss Group came together for great food, music, and plenty of laughter.
Chris on the organ and Gregg on guitar filled the room with brilliant entertainment.
Sian, Hayden and Brandon from Youth Shedz cooked up a lovely buffet for everyone.
We were joined by Roxanne the Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (Eclo) from Abergele Eye Hospital and Meghan Giles from Vision Support.
It was wonderful meeting new people – and the club is already planning their next outing together.
Cymdeithas Deillion Gogledd Cymru/North Wales Society of the Blind engagement officer Bethan Sage Williams said: “Thank you to Meghan, Vision Support Community Engagement Coordinator, Polly, our group leader, and everyone who helped make today such a lovely day for our blind and sight loss club.
“Your support, kindness, and hard work means so much. Days like this show just how special our sight loss club truly is, and I’m really grateful to be part of it.”
